My name is Kelly Shami. I am an experienced Creative Producer/Art Director for over 10+ years. I live and work in New York City. I started my career in print/magazines after graduating from The School of Visual Arts with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2013. I have transitioned through various jobs and spaces while maintaining the integrity of compelling design and art.
In 2011, I began to freelance for the artist known as Beyoncé. Later on, I was hired full-time as an in-house designer for her and for her company, Parkwood Entertainment. My role over the years has transformed into what I now am titled as a Creative Producer. This role is a combination of all the things I love to do, which is ideating and managing creative projects to ultimately completing them. The projects during this time range from video, book design, stage design, graphic design, creative concepting with various departments, brand collaborations, and beyond. I am fluent in art history, all Adobe programs, and continue to teach myself new skills to be ahead of the world today.
Since 2018, I have expanded my painting studio practice in my free time. Here is my artist site.
